CHRIST-CENTERED MOTIVATION

Our essential motivation for life and ministry is to please and glorify God. He is the audience, all of life is the stage and the Holy Spirit is the director/conductor.

SERVANT HEARTs

We are never promoted beyond serving. Willingness to serve will always outweigh presentability and status.

RELATIONSHIPS

Church isn’t supposed to grow in rows, but in circles. We prioritise life groups, because we do life groups, because we do life together, we don’t just do church together.

New people

We will love and welcome every person the Lord adds to us. We look for and love the loner. We gladly open up circles to allow new people and gladly multiply our circles to “spread the love”

Faith for growth

We pray for and expect salvations. We plan for growth, and will not limit ourselves in our faith or thinking. We plan big.

Personal discipleship

We follow Jesus, we fish for men, and we fellowship with each other. This is Christ’s call to every Christian. We take the great commission seriously and personally.

Focused Ministry

We find our areas of giftedness and anointing and we serve wholeheartedly therein.

Integrity

“More of Jesus” in my room than on stage, in my family than in my ministry, in the office than on Sundays.

Gratitude

We are thankful for ALL that the Lord has done, is doing and will do.

Anointing

The seven men chosen to wait on tables in Acts 6 were to be men “full of the Spirit and wisdom”. We depend upon and pay attention to anointing - God’s divine empowerment - in all that we do.
